Phoenix in the community

Particularly focused on under served areas, we're working to promote community cohesion using sport as a mechanism for meaningful, lasting change.

Access to sport

Sport is for everyone, and we believe everyone should have the chance to enjoy it.  This is why we're committed to equitable access for all.

Partners & Ambassadors

Partnerships help us go further faster; Ambassadors help us reach higher.  There are so many fantastic organisations & individuals working in this space already. If you're one of them, we'd love to talk about how we can work together.

About us

The Phoenix Foundation uses the power of sport, our network & relationships to inspire and support people, particularly young people in Zimbabwe & across sub-Saharan Africa.

Inclusion, empowerment & enablement are at the heart of what we do; sustainability is the driver behind how we do it.

Our story

We are a not-for-profit, charitable organisation with the objective of increasing access to and participation in sport in sub-Saharan Africa.

Beyond the health and wellbeing benefits it brings, sport is a powerful mechanism for bringing people together and driving real change. It can transform communities through social cohesion, opportunities and economic development.

We will deliver sports projects to maximise this benefit realisation, with a focus on sustainability and meaningful change for as many people as possible.

To do this, we rely on support from partners & individuals.

There are many fun, unique ways you can support our work & be part of something game changing. With your fantastic backing, The Phoenix Foundation can only go from strength to strength!
